Mr John A Rophael is an experienced Vascular and Endovascular surgeon who has been in specialist practice for approximately a decade.
He treats all arterial and venous disorders and utilises the latest minimally invasive approaches for treating patients.
In addition to all peripheral arterial pathology, he has a special interest in the modern treatment of varicose veins with endovenous laser ablation. He also has keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic congestion syndrome.
Mr Rophael trained in Sydney and in Melbourne and has authored several publications in the field of vascular surgery.
The primary aim at Victorian Vascular Clinic is to combine a surgical consultation with Mr Rophael and a diagnostic vascular ultrasound at the same visit. This ensures most patients have a diagnosis and treatment plan in place at the time of the initial consultation. This reduces the need for additional visits and provides prompt efficient treatment.
All vascular diagnostic ultrasound scans are bulked billed.
