Dr Alison Graver

Dr Alison Graver graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2012 and completed specialist training in Nephrology at the Royal Hobart Hospital and Austin Health.

Dr Graver works as a Nephrologist at Austin Health, where she is the Clinical Lead for the Kidney Biopsy service, and also manages the care of patients with kidney disease and kidney transplants. She actively engages in the supervision and mentoring of junior medical doctors and Renal trainees.

Dr Graver is a University of Melbourne / Austin Health PhD candidate, investigating liquid biopsies for non-invasive monitoring of kidney transplant recipients. She has also conducted research into driving safety in kidney dialysis patients, and has presented at numerous local and national meetings.

Dr Graver welcomes referrals for all facets of Nephrology including chronic kidney disease of any cause, glomerulonephritis, kidney transplantation and dialysis. She understands the importance of comprehensive long-term care, and is passionate about practising patient-focused, holistic medicine.
